Priest appeals to South Sudanese leaders to work according to people’s needs

The assistance parish priest of Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral, in Torit Catholic
Diocese, advises leaders to work according to people’s interest.
Father Taban David also urges anyone who happens to become a leader to be
humble, Radio Emmanuel reports.
The Parish Priest also calls on Christians to be kind to one another.
He encourages believers to be generous by helping the needy so that they get
blessings from the Almighty God.
“Today as Christians, we are encouraged to be hospitable to provide to those who
are in need. We don’t only look for our own children to provide for them, but also to
those who are in need in our society. We must imitate the love of grandmothers in
our society they are so kind and humble they don’t segregate”.
“When you are kind woman, the kind person in the world God will always reward you
but when you show hardness you don’t even think who people are surviving then
God will always take out, that leadership that once you click you climb a leader do
the needful to the people in the society goodness nobody is going to exist in this
earth for life whether you have resources or you have what, have you ever heard
someone buried here with all his resources?”
The catholic priest made the remarks at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral Parish in
Torit.
