Child protection unit at Tonj police says a teenager was found dead after falling into a well on Friday.
Investigation officer Friday Deng Mabior said the case was reported to the police after body of the child was found, Don Bosco radio reports.
Deng added the body was identified to be a girl below the age of 18.
The officer appealed to parents to protect their children from visiting dangerous places to avoid similar incidences.
