Western Bahr-El-Ghazal State Taskforce Committee on Coronavirus in confirms that the state has not received any material, medical or technical support from the national high level taskforce up to date, according to Chairperson Remijo Hassan Saverio.
Voice of Hope Radio quoted him saying that all efforts in the state including covid-19 prevention and caring for the previous case and suspects are done by the public,.
Saverio mentioned that they are connecting with national taskforce as they use to raise reports and request, but no positive response are being made or observed.
He called for a quick response and help from National Taskforce to at least train medical team in the state.
Earlier in May the state was having one case of coronavirus and 15 suspects, but now they have travelled to Juba and there is no confirmed case in the state.
