The Mother of Mercy Hospital Medical Director in Gidel, Nuba Mountains Tom Catena called on nurses and clinical officers to work harder and aim higher to treat the sick people around the world.

He advised Nuba clinical officers and nurses to advance in medical field to work in other countries because there are so many sick and needy people in other places, Voice of Peace Radio reported.

Dr Catena talked on Wednesday during the farewell party for doctors John Clarke and Mike Penditon who were leaving their mission in the Nuba Mountains.

The Director thanked the two doctors for their services in the Nuba Mountains especially Dr Clarke who has worked in the Mother of Mercy Hospital for the last four years.

Mother of Mercy Hospital Matron Sister Anita expressed gratitude for the two doctors who had worked tirelessly in the Nuba land because there are many things the nurses and clinical officers have learnt from them.

The matron asked God to keep them safe and accompany them back to their countries of origin.
