The meeting of Dr Riek Machar and President Salva Kiir is focusing on security arrangements of the revitalised accord and it is one of the basic provisions, says the SPLM/A- IO Deputy Chair Henry Odwar.
He told media on Monday that they had also focused on the eighty-three thousand of forces to be unified before the November.
Odwar described the presence of Dr Riek in Juba as sign of commitment to peace.
‘This evening, Dr Riek Machar arrived in Juba. This is a sign of commitment to peace. Our meeting concentrates on security arrangements because is one of the fundamental provision on the agreement’, he adds.
Presidential Security Affairs Adviser, Tut Kew Gatluak assured the public that the signatories to the agreement are committed to move forward on the revitalised deal.
The leaders are reviewing the agreement on the security arrangements, he adds.
The leaders will proceed with their talks on Tuesday in Juba with 69 members of SPLM-IO delegation.
