Resistance and resilience helped in building hope in the people, Bishop of the Episcopal of South Sudan or ECSS Diocese of Yei Bishop Hillary Luate Adeba told the members of the Inter-Church Committee on Saturday.
He urged the members to do the work that brings hope and faith to the people and not to think of money, but labour for the people, Radio Easter reports.
‘Our resistance and resilience has helped to build hope in our people and this is what you must do. The work assigned to you, should benefit the people of Yei. But it should not be just a work. I know it has no money. If there is no money, it is your faith and hope in you, to share that hope with your people’, says Bishop Luate.
Bishop Luate suggests that the Inter-Church Committee should organize fellowship prayers which bring together all Christian denominations.
The ECSS prelate spoke on Saturday during the closure of the workshop organized by the South Sudan Council of Churches in Yei.
