Nonviolent Peace Force is training 30 young people in Western Lakes State on conflict mediation and mitigation.

John Malou Ater, Youth Protection officer, says the training is to sensitize youth and enable them to understand levels of fighting in the region.

Malou urges the youth to use the skills for ending clashes particularly in Rumbek and the country at large.

He calls on South Sudan young people to engage females in conflict intervention and improvement in the society.

The officer made remarks to Good News Radio on Monday during two-day conflict mediation and mitigation in Rumbek.
