The director of South Sudan Relief Rehabilitation Commission Michael Geba in Wau on Wednesday called on national nongovernmental organizations to register and have offices.
He appreciates Community Empowerment Foundation for establishing an office for its operation Voice of Hope Radio reports.
The director says many of the National and Community Based organizations have registered but do not have any offices.
Director Geba adds that the commission encourages donors to transfer funding directly to the national organizations.
He appeals to national NGOs to be committed and work seriously to do more projects to encourage their donors.
State Minister of Health James Patrick Ibrahim says organization like CEF is very useful to the community because their project cover health, education, and economics.
The speakers were talking during the launch of Community Empowerment Foundation this week in Wau.
