The Catholic Priest in Tonj state under the diocese of Rumbek on Wednesday told the congregation to be ambassadors of Christ Jesus.
Fr. Leo Arokianathan on Ash Wednesday told Christians to share the word of God through gospel and prayers in silence, Don Bosco Radio reports,
The priest told congregation to be closer to God through reading the Bible as well as rosary and have a reflection for themselves.
Fr Arokianathan advises Christians not to show off when helping other people, but it should be in secret.
He encourages people to pray in silence so that God may hear them and not blow-out their secret prayers in the public.
The priest urges everyone who believes in God not to be proud when giving something to the needy.
The catholic priest was preaching during Ash Wednesday celebration in Tonj on Wednesday.
