The Catholic Diocese of Torit is overwhelmed by the new ordained Bishop Stephen Ameyu of Torit, who was consecrated and installed by the Archbishop of Juba.
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro advises the new bishop to transform the church and proclaim God’s message under all circumstances.
The Archbishop also calls on the new Bishop to love and help everybody including the priests to grow in faith.
The new Bishop thanks his fellow bishops of Sudan and South Sudan and the congregation for making the day colorful.
He says the consecration marks the new beginning of faith in the diocese.
The church leaders were speaking during the installation of Bishop Stephen Ameyu Martin Mulla at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral in Torit on Sunday.
