Lasting peace requires work without rest, says head of Catholic Bishops

The President of the Conference of Catholic Bishops in Sudan and South Sudan says the process of building lasting peace requires continuity without rest from peacemakers.
 
Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala of Tambura-Yambio, says the important thing is national reconciliation to ensure the unity of South Sudanese, Voice of Hope Radio reports.
 
He thanks the government for the intensive efforts to bring peace to the country.
 
The President of the Conference believes that the revitalized deal will bring lasting harmony.
 
He affirms the commitment of the Catholic Church to work day and night and to push for durable peace by any means.
 
The Catholic prelate tells priests and sisters to pray for unity and cooperate with the administration of the Catholic Diocese of Wau.
 
The Bishop while preaching in Wau encourages priests and nuns to unite for the sake of Christ in the whole world.
