Reconstituted Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission Aacting Chairman says, the media should be given the space to contribute in reporting the process of the revitalised peace agreement to create common understanding .
 
Lt. General Augostino Njoroge urges the government that the spirit of reconciliation and the application of justice is required by its facilities.
 
R-JMEC Acting Chair Njoroge expresses concern that the ongoing denial of humanitarian access to help the desperate people in need will break the spirit of the agreement.
 
He adds that seven million people are in need of humanitarian aid and over four million fled their homes which makes the delivery of aid very difficult according to UNOCHA’s report.
 
He says the economic situation has some positive news and the exchange rate has improved markedly from the beginning of the financial year.
 
The official spoke on Wednesday on R-JMEC second plenary in Juba.
