The Diocesan Counseling Center trains 21 young people on the effects of drug abuse in Yei River.
Parish Priest Tom Poru, founder of the program says they are targeting youth who have are not yet attracted to drinking alcohol and using drugs, Radio Easter reports.
He discloses that they are rescuing youth of Yei River County and State who see people using drugs and want to join the bad practice.
The priest advises parents to cooperate with the administration to prevent drugs abuse right from their homes.
Joan Penena Jimmy, a participant expresses her happiness on what she has learned during the training on effects of drugs abuse.
She advises her fellow youth to avoid taking harmful drugs.
The officials were speaking to Radio Easter over the weekend in Yei.
