UBG students express concerns over increment of tuition fees

The students of the University of Bahr El Ghazal express their concerns over the increment of the 2017-2018 tuition fees.
 
The administration of the University has increased the fee from 3,000 SSP 30,000 SSP.
 
A university students who refused to mention his name for security purpose, laments that, there is no difference between private and government universities if government charges a lot of money.
 
They complain that even those working in some government institutions are not paid with such huge amount.
 
Deputy Vice chancellor, Abraham Matoch says last year the school was faced by financial challenges.
 
He points out that the new comers and the people who are organizing protest should know that the University will recognize them when they are registered.
 
Matoch says they were able to manage last supplementary and substitute exams last year because of individuals contribution.
 
They spoke on Monday in response to reactions of the students on the circulated registration procedures in Wau.
