The First Vice President on Monday announced that his group is no longer SPLM IO
Taban Deng Gai his party is following Reunification Agreement signed by the three SPLM factions in Arusha, Tanzania on twenty-first of January twenty fifteen.
He confirmed that his entire party SPLM-IO ceased to exist and announced his unity with the SPLM in government.
The First Vice President calls on the representatives of the other political parties to return to the country to contest for the general elections.
The conflict began in December 2013 when soldiers loyal to President Salva Kiir and those loyal to former Vice President Riek Machar.
