SLPA soldiers who are collecting unauthorized guns in the hands of civilians in Tonj State are allegedly forcing residence to feed them.
Acting Chief of the area James Koknyin says some troops were dispatched to his village ten kilometers away from the town to disarm civilians. But they also command citizens to give them food.
James Koknyin claims that the soldiers are deployed in Kuanyja Boma without proper information to the communities in the area.
He adds that soldiers are moving along with their guns threatening people to give them food during day time.
He says each household is charged to contribute two gallons of sorghum or locally known as dura.
NyanKuer Makany one of the victims forced to give food items blames the chief of the area for allowing the soldiers to take food by force.
Boma Administrator of Kuanyja, Joseph Domaya says the main mission of the soldiers on the ground is to disarm the community.
He blames the current situation in the country forcing the soldiers to misbehave.
