The United Nations Mission in South Sudan will renovate two thousand and three hundred and fifty kilometers of key roads in the young country, discloses UNMISS Chief.

David Shearer says Juba-Yei road rehabilitation which started last month will soon be completed.

He notes that UNMISS is working in collaboration with the national government, World Food Programme, and UNOPS to repair the roads.

Shearer stresses that if the conflicts came to an end infrastructure such as roads will fasten development and prosperity in the country.

High Level Revitalization forum is an important opportunity to bring people together to make progress to reach durable peace, he notes.

The UNMISS Chief was addressing the media on Tuesday after participating in IGAD meeting on High Level Revitalization Forum in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
