The three-day inter-states women dialogue that brought over a hundred female representatives from Gok, Eastern and Western Lakes States concludes on Wednesday in Rumbek.
According to Radio Good News, the dialogue resolved to end brewing of local alcohol and hiding of criminals.
SAFERWORLD State Coordinator Samuel Mapuor Marial says women also pledge to stop composing defamatory songs.
Women appeal to NGOs to support them with microfinance and entrepreneurial skills to help them support their families, since they are going to stop making alcohol.
Western Lakes State Acting Governor Lois Agum Ruben pledges her commitment over the resolutions.
She says the newly appointed minister of Local Government and State Assembly will work together with other states to see effective implementation of the resolutions.
Agum urges participants to be ambassadors of peace in their respective locations.
The three-days Inter-states Women Peace Conference was supported by SAFERWORLD.
