Tonj Municipality on Thursday has issued a mayoral order closing down all the customary courts after directives from the office of the governor.

Joseph Anei Madoor says all the customary courts under twenty- two counties in Tonj state are closed down until further notice, Radio  Don Bosco reports.
He explains that the governor gave the order after he received complaints from the communities that some courts are charging people high amount of money.

Anei Madoor advises the community to remain patient as the government is working hard to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
