New SSD Number Plate unified for security reason, says Director

Western Lakes State Traffic Police Director says the newly introduced SSD number Plate is to stop identification of vehicles or motorcycles by States.
 
Major Chol Arol Kelueljang says the number plate which stands for South Sudan, can prevent more crimes related to Road ambush, Radio Good News reports.
 
He says people with private vehicles should maintain their number plates until new ones are brought to the state.
 
Maj Arol says the fee for a private number plate is six thousand six hundred and forty two South Sudanese Pounds while for Commercial Vehicle is seven thousand six hundred and forty two SSP.
 
He urges citizens to commit to the registration process.
 
Maj Arol was speaking to Radio Good News on Tuesday in Rumbek.
