Both government and societies have failed their duties to provide security and advocacy to the people, says Deputy Chairperson of the Organizations Network in greater Lakes.
Hakim Cepuonyuny, says; it is the duty of the government to provide security for the citizens and civil societies to advocate for the rights of the citizens. Radio Good News reports.
Cepuonyuny says both national and state governments have failed to provide security for services providers and to humanitarian agencies and users. He adds that many children were not able to go to school due to insecurity in the area.
The speaker was speaking during Children’s forum held by Save the Children International on Wednesday in Rumbek.
