Priest tells parents to allow their children to serve God

The parish priest of Saints Peter and Paul in the Catholic Diocese of Torit is urging parents to allow their children to join Church services and become priests and sisters to serve the people of God.
 
Fr Jackino Lomogo criticizes some parents for keeping their female children for wealth instead of allowing them to serve God at their early age. Emmanuel Radio reports.
 
Lomogo says girls should also be given chance to join sisterhood in order to replace the aged nuns.
 
Fr Lomogo says Christians should copy and follow the life of St Theresa who asked her parents to allow her serve the Lord and ready to suffer for Him.
 
He advises South Sudanese to act like other neighboring countries that have gone far in serving the Lord.
 
Fr Lomogo says parents are also responsible for bringing up their children in a way that enables them fear God and work for him.
