Parish councilors at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral and our Lady of Holy Rosary parishes in Torit are calling on faithful to join the small Christian Community so as to re-energize their faith.
Speaking to Radio Emmanuel in Torit, Cyprian Okuye Attari a parishioner at Our Lady of Holy Rosary parish says, participating in small Christian community activities is a way of implementing what is learned on Sundays during mass.
Okuye says being in small Christian family encourages spirit of togetherness.
Okuye describes small Christian community as a unifying factor among faithful in the diocese.
He says, mall Christians Community helps in building up and strengthening social relations between communities in their respective neighborhood.
Cecilia Omoro Pelegrino says being in small Christian community helps in managing time. She adds that Christians face challenges daily and they need to help each other through prayers.
Small Christian Communities in Torit was formed three years ago to enable Christians share the word of God in residential areas.
