A dead body of a young lady of around 25 years was found floating at Kinetye River Bridge along Torit-Juba road on Thursday evening.
According to Radio Emmanuel, Police Chief Inspector Captain Justine Keliopas says the young lady’s face appears to have been beaten before drowning.
Fire Brigade officer, Salah John, suspects the deceased died seven days ago.

The deceased was laid to rest on Friday at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church cemetery because no relatives claimed the body.
