Imotong state governor Tobiolo Alberio Oromo is urging the citizens to ignore rumors of fighting during independence celebrations.
Governor Alberio says people should prepare themselves to observe the day in their homes as well as paying visits peacefully without being taken by floating rumors in town that causes fear and panic among citizens
He says this year’s independence anniversary will never be interrupted like it happens last year
Governor Alberio urges citizens to work for peace since it is the urgent thing that south Sudan needs at the moment
He tells people to communicate peace in their daily lives
Alberio says farmers should continue with their normal activities as the government works hard to protect citizens
