The Catholic Charismatic Renewal Group of St Mary Yambio Parish in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura/Yambio offered gifts to their Parish Priest, Louis Nvuekama Tamoata as a sign of their love and care for him.
Stanislaus Urusa, Chairperson of the Organizing Committee says it was the symbol of welcoming the priest to the parish after his appointment, Radio Anisa reports.
The gifts include money, food items and utensils among other things.
Urusa applauds the parish priest for his commitment during recollection and all days in the church.
Fr Louis appreciates the group for the wonderful gesture of love and care they have shown to him and the parish.
He adds what the parishioners have challenged him to respond to the great support and love shown to him.
The priest reveals that since his appointment he has been emphasizing on self-evangelizing of the church in Africa.
He wants St Mary to be a self-supportive parish.
