Christians of St Peter and Paul Namaku Parish, Tombura/Yambio Catholic Diocese on Pentecost contributed money and house utensils to couples who received the Sacrament of Matrimony.

Justin Gaitano, St Peter and Paul Information Officer, says one thousands six hundred Pounds were contributed and other materials were given to the couples, Radio Anisa reports.

The utensils and money show to them the importance of being married in the Church, he adds.

Gaitano predicts that there will be no hunger in Namaku because many people are planting various kinds of crops including maize, groundnuts and cassava.

On Pentecostal feast Christians from all centers and chapels of the Parish gathered to celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit.
