The Minister of Health in Wau State visited Sikka Hadid area to assess vaccination centers and health institutions.

Bona Gawdencio Wol also visited Daraja and Clement Mboro Primary School, Radio Voice of Hope reports.

He says the work at the centers is ongoing well and that the staff face challenges including lack of proper health facilities.

It is the first time to evaluate the work at health centers where vaccination is continuing, the minister notes.

He says there is progress because the staff works hard to help people in those areas.

There was a problem at Clement Mboro Primary School because teachers did not allow vaccinators to enter the school, he recalls.

Teachers suggested that it would be better for parents to take their children to vaccination centers instead of school, he adds.

The minister says such issues will be address amicably with the people concerned.

Minister Gawdencio encourages parents to take their children for vaccination.
