Learners should help their parents during holidays, the headmaster of Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Primary School, asks.

Yousif Daud’s comments come as the school closes for first term. He complains that the number of children is so high, Radio Voice of Peace reports.

Daud says some children are not ready to learn, cautioning parents to take care.

There were over six hundred pupils in the beginning of the year, but five dropped out, he notes.

He claims that children from government schools are doing far better than those in private schools.

Bakhita and Julius studying in the same school, advise their colleagues to help their parents.

The two pupils call for respect among girls and boys.
