Cholera outbreak confirmed mid May has reached 546 cases, says Minister of Health in Tonj State.
Lual Longar Adhal told Radio Don Bosco on Wednesday that patients were treated in the health units of Makuac, Mapara, Palieng and Paweng of former Tonj East.
He adds that doctors are also on the ground to enlighten communities.
The minister says there are 22 death cases, 17 outside health facilities and five in the Cholera Treatment Unit.
Longar advises the public to report cholera related issues to the nearest treatment units for easy handling.
