The Commissioner of Roj Roj Dong County in Wau State calls on citizens to return home because the security situation has improved.
Peter Duoi Uyu told Radio Voice of Hope that a team was sent to meet armed youth in bushes to dialogue with them.
The arm groups said they are not happy with those who cross borders with cattle causing conflict among communities.
The government has deployed some forces around to protect the area so that citizens live in peace, Commissioner Duoi says.
He encourages the communities to return home and start cultivation since they decided to send those with cattle back to their areas.
He did not specify when the arm groups will arrives to the county after they have denounced violence.
The residence of Roj Roj Dong County, have been away from their homes for many months due to insecurity.
Radio Voice of Hope could not reach the armed group for comments.
