Thousands of Muslims and other religious denominations in Maridi State call for lasting peace in South Sudan.
The call came on Monday during the celebration of Eid al Adha at Maridi Freedom Square, Radio Anisa reported.
Imam Adam Kurumudu says it is time for every citizen of South Sudan to stop killing one another and speak about peace in the country.
Violet Sadia Bullen, State Advisor on Peace and Reconciliation said tells citizens to end segregation and work as team for lasting peace.
She urged South Sudanese to stop fighting.
Sadia calls on the armed youth in the bush to return home and develop the state.
