Yei Bishop urges government to work with international community

The Catholic Bishop of Yei urges the Transitional Government of National Unity to work together with IGAD, AU and the international community in resolving the problems in the country.
 
In his Sunday homily, Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe, says the partners should only be helping the nation in resolving the crisis and not forcing peace, Radio Easter reports.
 
He says resolving South Sudan’s problems would give citizens hope for peace and safety.
 
Bishop Lodu advises South Sudanese people to avoid fear created by baseless rumours, but continue doing their normal activities.
 
He appeals to people to put God first in all times that and citizens should not let themselves to be traumatized by fear.
 
The Catholic Bishop was giving remarks at Christ the King Cathedral on Sunday.
