Yambio Paramount Chief urges President Salva Kiir’s administration to consider the interests of Equatorians in the governance of South Sudan.

Wilson Peni Rikito says people from the Equatoria region experience marginalization in military promotions among many other things, Radio Anisa reports.

If there is no promotion of youth in Equatoria region, things will not go well, Peni foresees.

Government should handle Equatorians in a fair way, the Paramount Chief advises.

He, however, commends the government for paying attention to address ongoing conflict in Western Equatoria.

The Paramount Chief made the appeal during the signing of final peace deal between South Sudan National Liberation Movement and the government over the weekend.
