Many employers in the private sector have reduced their workers abruptly, says Yei River County Labour Establishment Officer.
 
Paul Ohisa Thomas notes that there are more than 15 cases about abrupt ending of contracts without the notice of the Labour Office, Radio Easter reports.
 
He complains that the department has not been consulted on ending of workers’ contracts.
 
The Labour Department trained employers and workers of organizations on labour laws, he says.
