SPLM/A-In-Opposition advance team will not show up in Juba today as expected, says Information Minister.
Michael Makuei Lueth says there is still no agreement on the number of their delegates and the date of arrival in Juba.
The SPLM/A-In-Opposition presented seven reasons for sending over 600 advance team members, he discloses.
The reasons outlined in a letter written by SPLM/A-IO Chief Negotiator Taban Deng Gai include peace dissemination, confidence building, reconciliation and encouragement of IDPs return home.
But, Minister Makuei says peace dissemination is not possible now.
He believes the SPLM/A-IO is not liked in some communities in the country.
The minister was speaking in a press conference on Thursday in Juba.
The government insists that only 30 members of the Opposition advance team is acceptable.
Two representatives of the SPLM/A-IO secretariat are already in Juba.
