Nyuol Justin Yaac asks the national parliament and the executive organ to quickly approve the international treaties on governance, civil, political, economic and cultural rights.
He also challenges ordinary South Sudanese citizens to observe human rights in their families.
Government alone cannot win the fight against human rights’ violations, the chairperson adds.
Human Rights Day is marked on December 10 every year.
The Day commemorates 1948 United Nations adaptation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
