Apostolic Administrator of the Catholic Diocese of Torit announces opening a ‘House of Mercy’, a center dedicated for prayers in the town.
Monsignor Thomas Oliha urges Christians to visit the centre during the Year of Mercy to worship God, Radio Emmanuel reports.
He notes that the Year is dedicated to Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ for her sinless life.
Monsignor Oliha reveals that Pope Francis proposes the Year of Mercy to give Christians a chance to repent.
He was speaking at the opening of the Year of Mercy at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral in Torit town on Tuesday.
