Rumbek Police says a man allegedly killed his son at Ayen Mayar village in Rumbek East County of Lakes State.
Crime Desk Officer, Lieutenant William Lual says the motive of killing the son is not yet established.
Police in Wulu County has arrested the suspected killer, Radio Good News reports.
Wulu police will transfer the suspect to Rumbek for investigations, says Lieutenant Lual.
In a separate incident, a bicycle rider was found dead in a pit latrine.
The pit latrine was under construction at Akuach area in Rumbek.
Lieutenant Lual says a household member who is a woman is in police custody for interrogation over the matter.
The woman in custody says the pit latrine is far away from roadside.
She wonders how the man fell in it at night.
Rumbek police is investigating on the two cases.
