Over 100 candidates graduate in Yei Vocational Centre

One hundred and twenty eight South Sudanese graduated in different courses at Yei Vocational Training Centre on Saturday.
 
The 16th batch graduates from the ten states underwent nine-month course training in tailoring, carpentry and joinery, building and hair dressing.
 
Graduates’ representative, Mawa Elisha, called for more courses.
 
New courses including mechanic and entrepreneurship will be introduced in January 2016 program, said Norwegian People Aid Program Manager Jacob Atem.
 
Reverend Ben Waigo of the national Ministry of Labour and Public Service praised the partners for helping vocational centres to train youth in South Sudan.
 
Reverend Ben encouraged Vocational Training Centres to keep up the progress and change their programs from a nine-month to a 2-year course.
 
The training was funded by Norwegian peoples Aid and UNICEF through the Institute of Promotion of Civil Society.
