Farmers and cattle keepers clashed in Alubi Village of Heiban County in Nuba Mountains.
Farmers accused cattle-keepers of leaving their cattle to enter farms and destroy all the crops, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
People should realize the importance of sorghum, says Secretary for Sarbule, Yacoub Aluga Bakri.
He explained that some people confronted each other by firing guns in the farms.
Authorities earlier issued an order denouncing random shooting of guns.
Aluba blames the whole administration for not being transparent in their judicial rulings.
He urges chiefs to be impartial in decision making so that if cattle enter people’s farms the owners should face the laws of the community.
Aluga recalled that cattle keepers compensated some people after their cattle destroyed sesames.
In another news development, one man was injured in Tajura Village of Heiban County when suspected armed men attempted to raid their cattle.
