Islamic Council urges South Sudanese to embrace peace during Eid El Adha

Central Equatoria Islamic Council calls on all South Sudanese to join their Muslim brothers and sisters in celebrating Eid El Adha festival starting on Thursday.
 
The State Islamic Council Rapporteur Khamis Sebit told Radio Bakhita that the Muslim community welcomes all people for the celebration, appealing to citizens to use the event to embrace peace throughout the country.
 
Islamic Council Secretary General Ali Hassan Juma wished all Muslims and none-Muslims a peaceful celebration.
 
Eid El Adha is a Muslim sacrificial festival for the commemoration of Prophet Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son to God.
