At least two thousand believers completed a one-week Bible workshop organized by Sudanese Church of the Christ at Kauda in Heiban County of Nuba Mountains.
Nuba Mountains Christian Religious Affairs head Fr Gabriel Abdallah Adipa told Radio Voice of Peace on Saturday that the workshop under the theme: ”Satan and the evil” enlightened the participants about the existence of Satan and evil spirits in the society.
He says they were teaching partakers verses of the Holy Bible about the works of Satan resulting to sins including hatred, killing, drunkenness, adultery, theft and lying that brought many destruction to the world.
Fr Adipa advised the believers to be a strong enough in order to confront Satan, instructing them and non-believers to know the kind of spirits they possessed.
He said wars in Sudan are due to existence of evil spirits, calling on the people to worship a living God to avoid disunity.
Christian Religious Affairs head Fr Abdallah appreciated believers for turning up to attend the Biblical sessions in September annually.
The Bible workshop which started on Monday at Irsaaliya in the Sudanese Church of the Christ in Kauda attracted many people in the region.
