Lakes State Health ministry on Wednesday launched sub-national immunization of polio in Rumbek
EPI State Director Simon Makoi Maker told Radio Good News that the vaccination campaign targets only five states of greater Upper Nile, Lakes and Warrap State.
Director Makoi advises parents to bring their children for vaccination to prevent them from the disease for South Sudan to remain polio free.
Mr Makoi said the sub-national house to house immunization is expected to cover all eight counties of Lakes State.
