Nation Education Minister called for good school management board, parents and teachers’ association to look into the performance of schools for the new South Sudan Curriculum to function properly.
John Gai Yoah who was speaking during the launch of the first comprehensive South Sudan curriculum under the theme: ‘Harmonized education service delivery for nation building and peaceful coexistence through live long learning for all’, stressed the need to have schools governing structures.
World Food Programme or WFP head Shaun Hughes said last year they reached 200 thousand children with food, disclosing a plan to increase to 350 thousand children this year.
He pledged WFP’s commitment to support 900 teachers undergoing training in Teachers Training Institutes in 2015.
