National Legislative Assembly Peace, Reconciliation Committee Chairperson says perpetrators of atrocities in South Sudan should apologize to victims or survivors to release anger and trauma for forgiveness.

Peter Longole Kuam explains that it is easy for enemies to divide the country because citizens are too much attached to their own tribal hatred, Radio Bakhita reported.

He observes that South Sudan had a very long liberation struggle for independence but anger seems boiling in people’s hearts up to crisis point now.

MP Longole says a committee for peace has been formed to study South Sudan-Uganda border conflict in Magwi County, Eastern Equatoria State and Lamwo District of Uganda.
