South Sudan Council of Ministers in its regular meetings on Friday approved a concessional loan of 51 million US Dollars for the implementation of Digital Migration.
Acting Government Spokesperson Rebecca Joshua Okwaci says the government is working hard to ensure that the loans are available.
She adds that the initiative helps the media broadcast system to move from analogue to Digital Migration.
The Acting Spokesperson says the 51 million US Dollars is a continuation of a concessional loan from China for the project implementation.
She concludes that the process will be under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in partnership with the Ministry of Telecommunication and Postal Services.
