A charity organization says proper land system safer way for land disputes to avoid cases of land disputes in South Sudan contributed by individual or a small number of people who claimed community land ownership for their own interest.
Support Peace Initiative for Development Organization or SPIDO Executive Director Wodchan Savior says few people illegally sell community land to investors without meeting the needs of the particular community in that area, Radio Emmanuel reported.
He discloses that demand of land comes when investors sign contract with two or three people in the name of the community without procedural consultation.
Mr Wodchan urges authorities to promote good governance to minimize land dispute by practicing visible manifestation concerning land usage.
