Inter-primary school sports tournament under the theme: ‘Fare play promotes love, peace, unity, gender equality and development’ is scheduled to kick off on Wednesday in Yei Municipality of Central Equatoria State.
Yei Town Block Co-Curriculum Activities Supervisor John Wesley on Tuesday told Radio Easter that the tournament will start with a match in the morning between pupils of Narrow Gate and Light House Academy followed by a match between teachers of primary and secondary schools.
He explains that opening games for all groups is expected to start on Thursday and continue until the tournament winds up.
The Supervisor expressed the importance of sensitizing school children to maintain discipline in the up coming games completion, calling on all pupils to all put on school uniforms for easy identification.
The Inter-primary school sports tournament includes games for both boys and girls.
