SPLM Deputy Secretary-General says it is time to reposition for nation building by repairing damages caused and rebuilding trust and harmony among South Sudanese.

Dr Ann Itto says the return of Secretary-General Pagan Amum Okiech to resume duties the party needs is a relocation to what people fought for including peace, justice, liberty and prosperity for all.

She welcomes the reinstated SPLM Secretary-General Amum urging him and the team to move SPLM out of political messes to focus on the future of the growing nation.

Secretary-General Amum says the divided SPLM members have agreed to correct grave mistakes they have committed to reunite and forgive one another by avoiding blames.

SPLM Secretary-General Amum was suspended indefinitely in 2013 and later detained and exiled to Nairobi, Kenya for several months for alleged coup piloting which he and colleagues denied to date.
